Venticular Tachycardia
Etiology:It is associated with CAD and MI
Signs and Symptoms:
- Asymptomatic, or
- Palpitations
- Hypotension
- Angina
- Syncope
- Can progress to ventricular fibrillation
ECG Findings:
- Wide QRS complexes with regular rapid rhythm
- Three or more consecutive PVCs
- AV dissociation
Treatments:
- Cardioversion
- Antiarrhytmics: amiodarone, lidocaine, procainamide)
