Chickenpox (varicella):
  • Macules on the trunk cause papules and vesicles, ruptured and crusting
  • Crops of lesions
  • Dewdrop on a rose petal: a clear vesicle on an erythematous base
  • Fever
  • Risk for bacterial superinfection of lesions
