Etiology:
Rapid ectopic pacemaker in the atrium (not sinus node)

Signs and Symptoms:
  • Palpitations
  • Shortness of breath
  • Angina
  • Syncope
  • Light-headedness

ECG Findings:
P wave with an unusual axis before each normal QRS
Rate is more than 100 bpm

Treatments:
Adenosine
